During my 30 years in corporate banking, I was responsible for key statewide programs including the "American Dream Coalition" for affordable housing. I helped to create a community-based bank and wrote 275 business plans that resulted in over $5 million in loans for small businesses. I was a member of the mayor's council for redevelopment and urban renewal. I was responsible for several major redevelopment projects including shopping facilities, a library, a healthcare facility and a sheriff's substation. This experience demonstrates my ability to work in partnership with others to obtain community goals.
